Arkansas Venture Forum slates 6th Annual Venture Conference dates

The Arkansas Venture Forum is pleased to announce that the 6th Arkansas Venture Conference is slated for Tuesday, November 18 and Wednesday, November 19, 2008 in Little Rock. This event provides entrepreneurs, capital providers, service providers & private / public sector enthusiasts of the 21st Century Economic Development an opportunity to hear dynamic and experienced business speakers and to network with program participants and attendees. The two-day event is important for entrepreneurs, those wishing to become entrepreneurs, those interested in working with entrepreneurs and anyone with a desire to become more involved in Arkansas's entrepreneurial network.

“We are excited to `return` the event to central Arkansas this year,” one of the forum's leaders Tim McFarland said. “It's been nearly three years since the last Little Rock conference, so our hope is that many people will save the dates and make plans to attend.”

Conference attendees can look forward to a wide range of speakers who will share their entrepreneurial knowledge and experience. Additionally, AVF volunteer coordinators are dedicated to making this year's program even more substantive for all attendees.

“AVF's past evaluations have been terrific,” stated forum leader Grey Williams. “We have gained a lot of helpful information and plan to incorporate innovative idea from the evaluations into our event planning. We will have a detailed agenda, along with location specifics available in the near future.”

The goal of the Arkansas Venture Conference is to bring key resources together to help advance promising new Arkansas companies. The conference especially provides a centralized and resource rich opportunity for Arkansas's aspiring rural and urban entrepreneurs to meet other successful entrepreneurs, angel investors and a wide range of professionals with knowledge of how to match good ideas with development capital. Also, conference participants will have access to groundbreaking research, emerging technologies information and leaders of high-growth companies in Arkansas.
